Buddy Program
Are you a foreign student accepted at the Institute of Chemical Technology, Prague? Then do not hesitate and take advantage of our Buddy Program. A "BUDDY" is a primary contact person who provides information and guidance to you during your first weeks in the Czech Republic and, if the circumstances allow, during the whole time of your stay. Our buddies are Czech students who usually have experience as exchange students abroad from the past. They will pick you up at the airport, show you the way to the Halls of Residence and to the University, help you to arrange your accommodation... Purely and simply, they will help you to get "started" in your new home town and provide you "insider" information about student life and Czech culture in general.
Being matched to one of our volunteers will surely be a very valuable service for you. Please, do not forget that our buddies do their "job" as volunteers. Therefore, you cannot demand any assistance from them that exceeds their competence as a helping contact person.
Interested? Participating in the program is simple. Just fill in the online form here. We recommend you to submit your buddy request at least three weeks prior to your arrival; otherwise we cannot guarantee that you will be picked up at the airport. If you have any questions concerning our Buddy Program do not hesitate to contact us at esc@vscht.cz.
We are sure that you will find the participation in the Buddy Program as a very rewarding experience! After you fill in the form, you will be informed about your Buddy by e-mail.

Buddy Program Form
PLEASE NOTE:
- Use only characters of the English alphabet while filling the form. Do not write in capitals.
- Indicate also the exact time and place (airport, station...) of your arrival so that your buddy knows where to pick you up.
- If you do not know the exact arrival details yet, let us know as soon as you know. We can't find you a buddy without knowing your arrival information.
- If you are planning to arrive together with some other Erasmus student(s) who are going to study at ICT, please indicate this in the form along with their full names. We will try to assign you to the same buddy.
